    Doug Barron won the Regions Tradition on Sunday for his third PGA Tour Champions victory and first major title, shooting a 4-under 68 to hold off Steven Alker by two strokes. Barron finished at 17-under 271 at Greystone in the first of the season's five senior majors.

      Brad Keselowski moved to the front when Chris Buescher and Tyler Reddick hit each other with nine laps left and held on to win the Goodyear 400 at Darlington Raceway on Sunday. It was Keselowski's first victory since 2021 and his first triumph since rejoining magnate Jack Roush as a co-owner at Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing. It was Keselowski's 36th career win and his second at Darlington. He snapped a 110-race winless drought since taking the checkered flag at Talladega in April 2021. Ty Gibbs finished second and Josh Berry third.

      Iowa women's basketball coach Lisa Bluder is retiring after 24 years of leading the Hawkeyes and her longtime assistant Jan Jensen has been named her successor. Bluder's Caitlin Clark-led teams reached the last two NCAA championship games, including this year's loss to South Carolina five weeks ago. Clark is now in the WNBA, with the No. 1 overall pick making her season debut Tuesday night for the Indiana Fever. Bluder was 528-254 at Iowa, including 65-12 the past two years. In all, she was 716-359 including her 10 seasons at Drake.
